1Combine all ingredients except sour and broccoli in a large stock pot filled with the water.

2Bring to a boil and simmer until potatoes are tender.

3Meanwhile, steam the broccoli florets and once they are done add them into the pot and liquidise it.

4Remove from heat, stir in sour cream, salt to taste and serve.


4 cups water

1 lb broccoli stem

4 potatoes, peeled and diced

1 onion

1 garlic clove

2 tsp dill (fresh or dried)

4 tbsp butter

1 cup sour cream

1 cup broccoli floret
