This thick soup goes nicely with the fresh bread.

1Combine beef and carrots in a bowl, stir and set aside. Melt butter in a saucepan. Saute onion until light golden brown and add paprika.

2Add potatoes and beef with carrots. Season with spices to taste and pour boiling water. Simmer covered 35 minutes.

3Add red pepper and beans for last 10-15 mins.

4Salt and pepper to taste. Pour cooked soup in bowls and garnish with parsley.


4 cups of water

300g of beef

750g of potatoes peeled and cut

3 carrots peeled and sliced circles

1 large onion finely chopped

3 tbsp of butter

red pepper chopped

1 tbsp of paprika

can of red beans

parsley to taste

Salt and ground black pepper to taste
